Ginger and Karen stayed in the same private rental in Kailua as last year, called the "Ginger Cottage." They were joined by Ginger's cousin Kathy and Kathy's boyfriend Howard. Kathy and Howard stayed in a studio unit on the same property. The four of them visited Ho`omaluhia Botanical Gardens. On another day, Ginger and Karen toured historic buildings in downtown Honolulu. On the last evening, Ginger attend the meeting of the 50th State Canary Club at the Kanehoe Animal Hospital.
