In the early afternoon, Ginger and Kathy arrived in Ginger's car, Renee and Shelly in Renee's car. We arrived before checkin but the rooms were ready. Since we were not certain when we would arrive or if the rooms would be ready, the pairs made separate plans. Ginger and Kathy went for a swim in the pool, soaked in the hot tub, read for awhile, then went to eat at the Cheesecake Factory in Corta Madera. Renee and Shelly went on a picnic at a park in Tiburon and swung on "Hippie Tree." In the evening, all of them watched the movie My Fair Lady in one room. Renee and Shelly also ate a pizza in their own room so as not to tempt Ginger and Kathy, who vowed to not eat so late this year.

The big activity for the trip was taking the Tiburon Ferry to Angel
Island. We hoped to rent electric bicycles on the island, but they
did not have enough and had run out by the time we got there.
Instead, we rode a tram and got a guided tour of the island, which
made several stops for photos. Then we bought lunch and ate near the
ferry terminal. After that, we did a hike up Sunset Trail for great
views and more photo ops!

After breakfast, we explored Tiburon a little more.
Shelly's flight home was delayed so after checkout, we hung around The Lodge
for a while to visit some more.
Then Renee drove home herself while Ginger and
Kathy dropped Shelly off at San Francisco Airport.
