Termite Tenting September 30 - October 3, 2025
J&T Termite arranged tenting the house to treat for drywood termites. All landscaping had to be cut back at least one foot from the house. A couple of native plants in the front may have died because they were too close to the house. To avoid this problem in the future, nothing will be planted that close again.

The two analog TV antennas on the 20' mast had to come down. It would have cost more to take them down carefully so they could be reinstalled than to let the termite company remove them and then replace with a new analog antenna.

The birds and house plants were moved to the Todd house next door. Ginger and Karen and the cats stayed for 3 nights at Extended Stay America which was a nearby, pet-friendly motel.
