Sirius XM Onyx Radio in a Tesla Model 3

Here are some photos illustrating how a Sirius XM Onyx Radio was installed in a Tesla Model 3. In order to keep you as a customer, Sirius XM will send you the radio receiver and car installation kit for free! The instructions will show you how to set the Onyx radio to send out an FM signal that you can tune the Model 3 to receive. You need to search for an FM station that is not used in your area, which you can do by stepping through all the stations using the Model 3 tuner. Then keep that station as a "favorite" and whenever you select it, turn on the Onyx receiver and you will get all your Sirius XM stations.

You may be able to get your basic radio online from the Sirius XM website, but to make sure you get it for free, call Sirius XM at 1-866-635-5027 and tell them your car did not come with a receiver and this is the only way you will be a customer. If you want an upgraded radio, you will probably have to pay for it. Click Here to see all the radios they offer.
