Subject: Thank You Ginger........bird is doing well!

Hi Ginger:

Just a short note to thank you once again for creating the
opportunity for me to purchase one of your lovely birds. He is
singing happily and took a bath yesterday. Have a wonderful holiday
and I hope to meet up with you again some day. Thanks for all the
good advice on care too. I know that this canary will be much
happier than my last one as a result.

Aloha,
B.S.

Hi Ginger, I enjoyed meeting you and seeing all your birds. They are all so cheery and good-looking. I named my little guy Rufus. He is settling in well. The other bird are very calm and quite since he arrived. They sit and watch him for long periods. He is eating well; his pellets and some carrot and some corn. (The parakeets like the Kaytee pellets too.) He had one or two watery droppings at first, but they are fine now. He sang! He seemed to be feeling more secure and comfortable, making little vocalizations; then he started feather displays! And to top it off he let out two longish songs! Very pretty and not too loud. I think we were all excited and pleased. I know it delighted me! Good luck with the rest of your flock - you've raised this one well - he's a confident happy little guy. thanks again. M.
Ginger, We got home about an hour ago and the canary is doing fine. Right now, he's devouring a stalk of broccolini. He's so mild and sweet....really nice, calm personality. He's bright, alert and agile. C. has really taken to him right away. The quality and care you put into your birds is very evident. Thank you so much and I'll keep in touch! With Gratitude, J.
Subject: thank you for your canary website It's pretty upsetting to read about how much space canaries need and like, and yet to find only such inappropriate cages. Your website helped me to locate some internet retailers with much better selections than any local pet stores I've visited. Thank you so much! D.
Subject: My new Friend! Our new canary is incredible. He started singing the day after we brought him home and he hasn't taken a breath. His songs are absolutely beautiful and we're so delighted with his music filling our home!! Thank you!! B.
Dear Ginger, We are happy there's a bright note in our day! We've already picked a name for birdie "Figaro" (who loved the opera and Vivaldi) when I played the CDs yesterday. He already started chirping, and this morning is in full song. We really love our added addition to our family! Thank you kindly for providing this service that you do. I know it takes up a lot of your time. I appreciate your devotion. Best of luck in your next show! Sincerely, D.L.
Hello, how are you doing? Just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying our little canary. Terry named him Cricket but we mostly call him Short Stuff. He sings all day long and is quite personable. If a stranger comes in, we just whistle and he will start to sing. He has also added lots of notes and clicks and warbles. He is very calm when I clean his cage and loves his greens. We have had a little problem getting his food but Petco promised to order it to be here on Monday. We still have some that you gave us, enough to last until then, for certain. Where do you buy the pellets? Also where did you get those neat water containers. Haven't been able to find ones like yours yet. Looking forward to hearing from you. J and T D.
(received August 8, 2004) Hi Ginger, I just want to let you know how pleased I am with the canary I purchased from you on July 4th 2001. I haven't emailed you for quite a while and wanted to give you an update. My little Reepicheep is the most delightful bird I've ever had. He has an endless curiosity about anything and everything. He adds a couple of new sounds or short songs to his repertoire every year. He talks (chirps and trills) to me whenever I talk to him. He has such a friendly personality and is adventuresome too. His songs are strong and beautiful. The fact that he was pellet-raised has been so easy....I just supplement with fresh greens and veggies. His health is excellent. I take him in to see my avian vet 3-4 times/year to have his nails clipped, his weight checked, and a general "physical" exam. Reepicheep even sings while we're in the waiting room! Reepicheep is not bothered if I have a towel on my hair or have no makeup on. I have him in my big King's cage and it has worked out so well for him in terms of freedom of flight and convenience in cleaning. He is very well-known among my students because of the stories I bring in to class about him. I've taped him and also share his beautiful songs with my students. I wrote an article to Gary Bogue in The Valley Times about how last summer he began imitating the sounds of our backyard mockingbird. Ginger, thank you so much for rearing him so well. Reepicheep is my biggest treasure. Hope all is going well with you and your canaries. Sincerely, J.K.
Ginger, Just a quick note to let you know that the canary that I bought from you on Thursday is doing great! He adjusted right away and even the first day was not acting at all stressed. Yesterday he started singing a little bit and today his song is already louder, longer, stronger and more frequent. I imagine that in another week he'll be in full song. It was great doing business with you and learning a bit more about the showing aspect. You're exactly the kind of breeder that I enjoy doing business with and I would definitely return if I decide to buy another bird. Thanks again and happy holidays to you and yours. A.S.
Hi Ginger, I wanted to let you know how my new bird is doing, but first I wanted to thank you for all the time and information you gave me. It was a great experience! My new bird is settling in very nicely. The drive back took a couple of hours so it was dark when I got home. I put the little guy in his new cage and he began eating and drinking right away. Next he investigated everything in his new cage, hopping from perch to perch and chirping away. I let him explore and snack for about 1/2 hour before dimming the lights and partially covering the cage. He settled down right away. The next morning I uncovered him and within 10 minutes he was singing! He sang most of day! His song is very nice and he's adding more and more variety. Besides his wonderful singing, he is friendly and alert and has a sweet disposition. Now to pick a name for him... Thank you again Ginger!! L.T.
Just wanted to thank you for the beautiful canary I bought from you yesterday. He was chatting away with my other 2 canaries as soon as I brought him home. Then within a few hours he was softly singing. Today he is softly singing also, my other 2 are much louder. But I am sure after he gets used to me he will be singing like he did at your place. He is beautiful and I wanted to say thanks for your hard work. B.
Leslie and I just want to say Thank you very much for such a fine bird! Our little American Singer was singing 10 minutes after he transferred to the big cage. And it seems he hasn't quit since. Honestly, he fills the house up with song - a real singer! We had 10 people over for the holiday's and he put on a real show. We named him Yankee Doodle. thx B and L
