Sister Retreat 2008

Ginger, Shelly and Renee got together February 16-17, 2008 for an overnight trip to Salinas, California.

We had lunch at the Steinbeck House (John Steinbeck's boyhood home.)

We went on the 1:00 PM tour at Vision Quest Ranch outside Salinas.

We then drove to Carmel Mission and toured the grounds and church for a couple of hours.

On the way back, we went wine tasting at Ventana Vineyards.

We spend one night at Vision Quest Ranch B&B and heard lions roaring all night!

After we checked out, we toured the National Steinbeck Center, a museum in downtown Salinas about John Steinbeck.
