Ginger had her first adult birthday party the day after her actual 50th birthday. It was also a celebration of keeping her software engineering career going. After getting laid off from SGI the previous year and interviewing in the toughest tech job market in her career, she first got a contract job at Intel in April, then a direct job at Keynote in August. About 30 guests attended!
