Tonto Natural Bridge

Ginger and Karen visited Ginger's cousins Phil and Penny in Scottsdale, Arizona. On Monday, November 22, Phil took Karen and Ginger to see their new summer home in Payson, which is up in the mountains north of Phoenix. Cooler in the summer, cold in the fall. They got a great deal on a foreclosure, but it needs some fixing up!
After touring the house, we drove to Tonto Natural Bridge State Park even higher up and colder.
On Tuesday, Phil took us to the new
Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix.
On Wednesday, we visted
Taliesin West in Scottsdale, which is Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture school's winter campus.
Afterwards, we did an afternoon walk around Phil and Penny's neighborhood.
Thursday was Thanksgiving Day. Penny took Ginger and Karen for a
morning hike on the
Tortuga Trail in the Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area.
Afterwards, we all visited Phil's friends who have
rag doll cats. They joined us for dinner at Mimi's Cafe along with a friend of Penny's.
Friday was our last day, but we didn't fly out until evening.
