On Monday, we all met with Scher, who manages our investment property. After inspecting the property, we had lunch at the Bird of Paradise restaurant on a nearby golf course. Then we drove across the island, stopped at the Dole Pineapple Plantation to buy snacks, and toured the North Shore. We stopped at a closed sugar mill that has been converted to shops and small commercial businesses, such as Pyzel Surfboards.
