Ginger and Karen were joined by Margo and Marge this year at the
Waimanalo Beach Cottages. Both Ginger and Margo took photos in this album,

Each morning, Ginger and Karen hiked up to Makapu'u
Lighthouse. Margo joined several times and Marge made it half way once.
On Sunday, we all went to the service at
First Unitarian Church of Honolulu. Afterwards, we visited Queen Emma's Summer Place, which was nearby.

Hanauma Bay to go snorkling.
On Tuesday, we all met with Scher, who manages our
investment property in Ewa Beach.
After inspecting the property, we had lunch at the Bird of Paradise
restaurant on a nearby golf course.
Then we visited the
Plantation Village in Waipahu, which was nearby.
On Wednesday, we had lunch at the Waioli Tea Room.
Then we drove to Pearl Harbor to see the Arizona Memorial.
On Thursday morning, had lunch at Duke's in Waikiki and then
visited Waimea Valley on the North Shore to tour the botanical gardens.
On Friday, we visited the Bishop Museum where we saw a planetarium show
and had lunch at the museum cafe.
Our final day was Saturday, Ginger and Karen did another early morning hike to the lighthouse. Then we checked out of the cottages and drove to the airport, where we had lunch before our afternoon flight home. |
