On October 2, Ginger and Karen said goodbye to Doreen Waugh who was moving back to Scotland the next week after spending her adult life in California. We met for breakfast at Hobee's in Mtn. View.

That evening, Ginger and Karen went to a dance that was a breast cancer fund raiser golf and dinner. Here we are about to leave, Ginger is rarely this dressed up so we took photos.

On October 10, Ginger's cousin Phil and his wife Penny installed "Roofy" on Ginger's roof for Halloween. Unfortunately, Roofy "died" 2 weeks later, the fan that inflated him burned out, probably because it was the floor model that was running 24x7 at the store. Ginger was able to get a full refund, but the neighborhood missed Roofy for Halloween.
