On Thursday afternoon, we visited Cantigny, the estate of former Chicago Tribune editor and publisher Robert McCormick. After a guided indoor tour of his preserved home (no photography) we strolled around the grounds. We also visited the museum dedicated to the U.S. First Infantry Division on the same grounds, McCormick served in that division during WWI in France and renamed his estate Cantigny after the French town he liberated.
